About the show

Ellie just started school at St. James. She hasn’t told anybody why she switched schools in the middle of the year. Jake just got kicked off of the hockey team. And everybody knows why. While each struggles with the consequences of a violent act, they find in each other unlikely confidants to help unravel their own secrets.

“And then I heard it. We all did… There was no mistaking the sound. None whatsoever. Even though we live in Canada in a good neighborhood. Even if none of us had ever seen a gun in real life. You can’t escape knowing what it is, knowing what it sounds like. Imagine the kind of world we would have to be living in for that to be true?”
