Geordie Theatre Fest 2019/20 - Geordie Theatre

Recommended Age: 0 to 100 years

February 5-9, 2020

This one-week special event supports Geordie's initiative of being a leader in the development of great new works for Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA). With staged readings in partnership with the National Theatre School of Canada, and our acclaimed 2Play touring shows on a mainstage platform, the Geordie Theatre Festival gives audiences of all ages the chance to get an inside look at what's next for TYA.

This year's festival includes mainstage performances by Stephen Booth, Chloe Giddings, and Chadia Kikondjo who have been travelling with Tour Manager James Douglas, bringing The Water Chronicles and Fear of Missing out into schools, community centres and libraries all over Eastern Canada with our annual 2Play Tour.

The Geordie Theatre Festival's Play Reading Series is "Pay-What-You-Decide". Simply show up to the presentation you would like to see, and pay what you wish either before or after each show! If you would like to be sure you have a seat, you can make a reservation by emailing, or by calling our Box Office at 514-845-9810
