After School Classes

In addition to classes for the public, GTS also offers after school classes where students can come learn acting from some of Montreal’s top theatre professionals and all in the comfort of their own school!

We currently have After School Classes at F.A.C.E. School and Pierre Elliot Trudeau Elementary School in Rosemont.

Geordie at F.A.C.E. School

Cost: $310/12 weeks (Early Bird = $279.00)
Discounts available for families registering more than one child from the same family.

GTS classes are offered at F.A.C.E. School for grades 1 to 6 with both Fall and Winter sessions. These classes are only open to current F.A.C.E. students and happen during the week in the salle des jeux (4th floor) at F.A.C.E.

The Fall Session runs from September to December 2017 and culminates with an in-class final presentation on the last day of class. The classes offered are:

Grades 1 & 2: Tuesdays 3:00pm – 4:30pm
Grades 3 & 4: Mondays 3:00pm – 4:30pm = CLASS FULL
Grades 5 & 6: Tuesdays 4:30pm – 6:00pm

This Fall Geordie Theatre School will be returning to Pierre Elliot Trudeau Elementary School with after school classes for grades 1 through 6. Classes will run from September to December 2017 and will culminate in an in-class final presentation for family and friends. These classes are only open to students currently enrolled at P.E.T.

The Fall Session runs from September to December 2017 and culminates with an in-class final presentation for family and friends. The classes offered are:

Grades 1 – 3: Wednesdays 2:30pm – 4:00pm
Grades 4 – 6: Wednesdays 4:00pm – 5:30pm

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation in writing one week prior to the first class – Refund minus $15 processing fee.
Cancellation in writing before second class – Refund minus $25 processing fee.
Cancellation in writing before third class – Refund minus $100 deposit.
Cancellation after third class – No Refund.

FOR GTS WORKSHOPS: Cancellation in writing at least 2 weeks prior to the workshop – Refund minus $15 processing fee.
FOR GTS WORKSHOPS: Cancellation less the 2 weeks prior to the workshop - No Refund.

If a student must cancel due to medical reasons a physician’s note must be provided and a pro-rated refund or credit of equal value towards a future course at the Geordie Theatre School will be applied.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All courses have a minimum and maximum enrollment – should a course not meet the minimum enrollment, cancellation may be necessary. The Geordie Theatre School reserves the right to change instructors without prior notice. The Geordie Theatre School has a zero tolerance policy for inappropriate conduct. Any student showing a lack of respect for GTS staff and property, as well as fellow students or instructors, will be dismissed from the class permanently with no refund. Participants are expected to be on time. The Geordie Theatre School cannot assume responsibility for students before or after class time. The Geordie Theatre School reserves the right to videotape or photograph classes, screenings and performances to publicize the program. The Geordie Theatre School is not responsible for lost or stolen property.

All parents and students must read, sign and return the Geordie Theatre School Responsibility Contract to the GTS Director prior to the first class. The Responsibility Contract will be provided by the GTS Director once a student is registered. GTS adheres to a strict Bully Policy (outlined in the Responsibility Contract) and all acts of bullying will be dealt with by the GTS Director and may result in a child being asked to leave the course.
