Audition with confidence? Now you can with our new GTS Specialty Workshops! Each season GTS will offer a variety of specialty workshops, so check in often to see what is coming up next.

GTS & Beanduck Productions

Registration for our EXCITING Introduction to Acting On-Camera Workshops is NOW OPEN!


Cost: $175 (6hrs of class time over 2 days)
UPDATE: Workshop moved to the weekend of September 7th & 8th. Join us for some Back-to-School FUN!

After a super successful workshop in May, Geordie Theatre School and Beanduck Productions are excited to team up again to offer youth an exciting introduction to acting on-camera! This intensive workshop will take place Saturday, September 7th and Sunday, September 8th at Beanduck's studio in NDG (5165 Sherbrooke St W #112, Montreal, QC H4A 1T6).

This 6-hour workshop will cover the following... Day One, participants will be introduced to the differences between theatre and on-camera performing, what to expect from a film set, and will jump into on-camera acting with short scenes. Day Two, participants will each work on a longer scene on-camera. At the end of the day everyone will sit and watch the footage on TV!

The following workshops are available:

9 to 12 year olds: Sat Sept 7th & Sun Sept 8th 10:00am – 1:00pm
13 to 17 year olds: Sat Sept 7th & Sun Sept 8th 2:00pm - 5:00pm


Beanduck Productions is an independent video production company from Montreal, Canada, founded by director Julian Stamboulieh and producer Benjamin Warner. Following the critical and creative success that was the web series LARPs (a collaboration with writer Jon Verrall and housed on Felicia Day's Geek & Sundry, a part of Legendary's Digital Network), Beanduck began releasing short films in a variety of styles to their audiences in order to grow as artists and entertainers. CANCELLATION POLICY

FOR GTS WORKSHOPS: Cancellation in writing at least 1 week prior to the workshop – Refund minus $5 processing fee.
FOR GTS WORKSHOPS: Cancellation less than 1 week prior to the workshop - No Refund.

If a student must cancel due to medical reasons a physician’s note must be provided in order to receive a full refund.
