WELCOME TO GEORDIE’S PLAY LAB!
Located in St-Henri, Geordie’s Play Lab serves our company and the community through a space that supports artistic development.
The Play Lab is ideal for rehearsals, auditions, classes, workshops, livestreaming, and more! Renters have access to wi-fi, as well as a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, dishes and cutlery. There is also lighting, sound, video and livestreaming equipment available to rent.
RENTAL RATES
ROOM ONLY
Rentals on weekdays after 5pm and on weekends:
- $33/hour + taxes
Rentals on weekdays before 5pm, or a combination of weekdays and evenings/weekends:
- 1-4 hours: $20/hour + taxes
- 5-9 hours: $18/hour + taxes
- 10-49 hours: $16/hour + taxes
- 50+ hours: $14/hour + taxes
A $50 security deposit is required.
ROOM WITH EQUIPMENT AND TECHNICIAN
Room with equipment and technician:
- 1-4 hours: $20/hour + taxes + $35/hr for technician (4 hours minimum)
- 5-9 hours: $18/hour + taxes + $35/hour for technician
- 10-49 hours: $16/hour + taxes + $30/hour for technician
- 50+ hours: $14/hour + taxes + $30/hour for technician
A $250 security deposit is required.
THE SPACE
Space Dimensions: 25 ½ x 37 feet
ACCESSIBILITY
- The Play Lab is on the ground floor.
- There are 2 entrances to the building. One of them doesn’t have any stairs. The other has 2 steps and no ramp.
- Inside the building, there are no stairs or other barriers to get to the Play Lab.
- The Play Lab’s door openings are wide enough for standard wheelchair access.
- There are 3 single stall washrooms. 2 of them are wheelchair-accessible in terms of size and layout. However, they do not have any grab bars or emergency cords.
