Current Opportunities

Front-of-House - GEORDIE THEATRE FEST - Feb. 5-9, 2020
We are currently searching for volunteers to help out at the Geordie Theatre Fest.

Examples of tasks include:
- Welcoming our audiences to the
- Giving information and directions
- Collecting tickets stubs
- Handing out programs
- Helping our box office staff with various tasks
- Tidying up and resetting the space

Strathearn Center

Montréal QC, H2X

- Wednesday, February 5th : 5:30-9:00 pm
- Sunday, February 9th : 12:00-3:00 pm
- Sunday, February 9th : 2:30-5:30 pm

Each shift begins with a 30-minute training session.

For each completed shift, Geordie will gift you a ticket for The Water Chronicles or Fear of Missing Out on February 8th or 9th!

Ways to Volunteer

Front-of-House - School matinee
Guide students from their school bus to the theatre, give information and directions, and assist our schools liaison with various tasks.

Time commitment: 3 hours, on a weekday morning or afternoon
Front-of-House - Public performance
Welcome our audiences to the theatre, give information and directions, help our box office staff with various tasks, encourage audience members to fill out our survey and sign up for our newsletter, tidy up and reset the space

Time commitment: 3.5-4 hours, on a weekday evening or weekend afternoon
Administrative Assistance
Assist our office staff with various administrative tasks (mailings, faxing, telephone calls, compiling information, sorting documents, etc.) during peak production times.

Time commitment: Flexible, during regular business hours (Monday-Friday 9:00 am-5:00 pm)
Special Events
Anything is possible, from playing theatre games with kids to helping our props and costumes team!
