Reaching for Starlight Volunteer Shifts

Geordie Theatre is looking for friendly and dynamic volunteers to join our front-of-house team for our upcoming show Reaching for Starlight!

Reaching for Starlight is a story about the way we move in the world, an urgent portrait of a young girl’s journey of breaking barriers. Illustrated through the glorious infusion of theatre and ballet, contemporary, and hip hop dance, Reaching for Starlight is one of Geordie's biggest shows to date!

Examples of tasks include:

  • Welcoming our audiences to the theatre
  • Guiding students from to and from their school bus
  • Giving information and directions
  • Helping our box office staff with various tasks
  • Encouraging audience members to fill out our survey and sign up for our newsletter
  • Tidying up and resetting the space

Each shift begins with a 30-minute training session.
For each completed shift, Geordie will gift you a ticket for the show!
