Every donation to the GTS Bursary Fund helps inspire the next generation of theatre-makers by ensuring that young people from all economic backgrounds can participate in the performing arts. Through your support, youth gain access to transformative artistic experiences guided by passionate professional educators and artists in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
A gift of $325 provides a full bursary for one participant, covering program registration, a GTS t-shirt, and tickets to all Geordie Theatre productions and programming, removing financial barriers and opening the door to creativity, confidence, and community.

I always knew that my daughter loved activities that made her express herself such as role play, singing & dancing. But I’ve never been able to register her in such classes. When I saw the opportunity to apply for a GTS scholarship, I was thrilled. Finally, an inclusive program giving kids the occasion to try theatre. My daughter enjoyed her experience and I was amazed with what she learned in her classes. When I asked her what she liked about her theatre classes, she spontaneously replied: everything!”
