CANCELLATION POLICY
As per the Consumer Protection Act in Quebec, you can cancel a course registration at any time. However, you will be required to pay a penalty fee if the course has already started. We recommend that cancellation requests be sent by email to Geordie Theatre School. The course is considered cancelled from the moment the notice is sent.

Cancelling before the course begins
If you cancel your registration before a course starts, the merchant cannot claim fees or compensation.

Cancelling after the course has begun
If the course has started, you will be required to pay the following amounts:
- the cost of classes already taken; and
- a penalty provided for by the law. This penalty corresponds to the lowest of the following amounts: $50 or 10% of the cost of the classes that have not been taken.

For example: you registered for a series of 10 theatre classes for. You decide to cancel your registration after attending 2 classes. If the total cost of the course was $250, you must pay $50 for the 2 classes you attended. You will also be required to pay a $20 penalty, which corresponds to 10% of the cost of the remaining classes.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All courses have a minimum and maximum enrollment – should a course not meet the minimum enrollment, cancellation may be necessary. The Geordie Theatre School reserves the right to change instructors without prior notice. The Geordie Theatre School has a zero tolerance policy for inappropriate conduct. Any student showing a lack of respect for GTS staff and property, as well as fellow students or instructors, will be dismissed from the class permanently with no refund. Participants are expected to be on time. The Geordie Theatre School cannot assume responsibility for students before or after class time. The Geordie Theatre School reserves the right to videotape or photograph classes, screenings and performances to publicize the program. The Geordie Theatre School is not responsible for lost or stolen property.

GTS adheres to a strict Bully Policy and all acts of bullying will be dealt with by the GTS Director and may result in a child being asked to leave the course.

The Camp day ends promptly at 4:30pm. We do not, unfortunately, have an extended day option available. The following represents the sum due to GTS, should your child be picked up after the end time of 4:30pm:

4:30pm - 4:39pm = $10
4:40pm - 4:49pm = $20
4:50pm - 4:59pm = $30
5:00pm and over = $30 + $2/each additional minute
