GTS Workshop Series 2023-24: Teen Shakespeare Intensive
July 19th, 20th & 21st, 2023
Join Geordie Theatre School this summer for our popular Teen Shakespeare Intensive in partnership with Repercussion Theatre!
This workshop will give teens the opportunity to explore Shakespeare’s Cymbeline – part fairy-tale, part historical-fiction, part tragic-comedy, and a whole lot to dive into! Teens will explore this unique piece of theatre centred around themes of forbidden love, betrayal, forgiveness, our connection to the Earth, and how we must sometimes lose to find ourselves again.
The workshop will culminate with the teens performing their piece before Repercussion’s Cymbeline in Westmount Park on July 21st, 2023.
For ages 13 to 17. Maximum 10 participants.
